Molly's aviator jacket: Love it. It is absolutely one of the best AG outfits out there. The jacket does feel like worn leather and has zippers and snaps. It is also padded. The hat is rather large but nice because it slips on the doll easily. The pants were extremely easy to get on and really tailored pretty well for the doll. If you are at all thinking of getting it get it NOW. I don't think they will be around very long. BTW, Marisol looks good in this out fit too.

Samantha's spring time dress: Cute but very thin material. Flower pattern does seem a bit scattered but a nice basic looking dress.

Samantha's lawn party dress: Off beige is not bad. Nicer than I thought. Hat is very strange.

Samantha's bridesmaids outfit: Not too nice looking but nice fabric. Did not try this on doll. May look better on an actual doll.

Felicity's shoes and sock: love the embroidered socks. Shoes are better quality than I would have thought.

Samantha's off white shoes: cute. Unfortunately pretty basic. Kills me that she needs so many pairs of shoes.

Lieu..My daughter owns over 70 pairs of shoes...I think she might be approaching 80-pairs. We all think it's awful, but she uses her own money. She has really "good" taste, so these are nice shoes.

I often wonder where she gets her personality traits from. I feel guilty if I have more than five pairs! DH has two pairs for wearing off of the farm, and our son has only ONE!!! I keep trying to buy him more, but he thinks it's utter nonsense. [img]redface.gif[/img] And he dresses really well. I've come to the conclusion that he is boycotting his sister's shoe obcession.

So, really...if Sam wants to keep up with my daughter, she needs to get moving! LOL!!!!!

I agree on the hat. But I love the shoes. The little heel is so cute.

I noticed in some of the older brochures and things, Sam wore only her black shoes with just about everything...like her b-day dress and pinafore that has a pair of white shoes with the bow (maybe same dress your talking about...I can't keep straight the spring thing vs birthday, etc). Anyway, the old brochure that was given to me shoes her in her black meet shoes. Maybe back then they didn't have as many shoes? Same thing with Felicity's Christmas dress. So, I might see about not getting all the shoes if the meet shoes will work....I already have about 12 pair I think for the dolls! We only have 2, out at least....WOW I think it is funny!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Samantha's party shoes were not introduced intill 1991 which would explain there absence from the original brochures. Felicity does not wear the snappy-bow shoes in the original and newer brochures.
